UK series continues with Netherlock
In July 2020, we began construction of the Netherlock Hydropower Plant in the east of England.
The construction is located on the River Trent, one of the three longest rivers in Britain, in the town of Newark on Trent in Nottinghamshire.
The installed capacity of the Archimedes screw turbine will be 90 kW and annual production of over 600 MWh is expected.
Excavation work and sheet piles have been completed and concrete structures are currently being built.
Completion of the construction is planned for the end of 2020.
