About 67% of energy produced by renewable sources in Italy comes from hydroelectric which puts this country on the 3rd place in hydroelectric energy production in Europe. The current installed capacity is ca 21.9 GW.

RENFIN currently owns and operates seven hydro power plants, the latest was completed in 2019 in Northern Italy. The total installed capacity of our plants is more than 3 100 kW with annual power generation of ca 11.5 GWh.
